- Referral URLs and search queries that led you to our platform

2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account and subscription

- To verify your identity via OTP sent to your WhatsApp number
- To publish verified reviews on provider profile pages
- To display taxi service provider listings to customers

3. WhatsApp Messaging & OTP Verification
MyCabPortal uses the Meta WhatsApp Business API to send One-Time Passwords (OTPs) to users who submit reviews for taxi service providers. By entering your WhatsApp number on our platform:
- You consent to receiving a one-time OTP message on your WhatsApp number
- Your phone number is transmitted to Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API solely for the purpose of sending that OTP message
- We do not use your WhatsApp number for marketing or promotional messages without your explicit consent
- Your number is stored in our database to enforce the one-review-per-number rule and prevent abuse
- OTP codes expire within 10 minutes and are deleted after use
Meta's handling of messages through its WhatsApp API is subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: With third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting, payments, analytics, WhatsApp API), under strict confidentiality agreements
- Taxi Service Providers: Customer inquiry contact details submitted through the platform may be shared with the relevant listed taxi provider to fulfil service requests
- Legal Compliance: If required by law, court order, or government authority
- Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred to the new entity
- Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of MyCabPortal, users, or the public
5. Third-Party Services

- Meta / WhatsApp Business API — for OTP delivery
- Razorpay — for payment processing
- Google Maps / Places API — for city and location search
- Vercel / Hosting Providers — for platform infrastructure

- Account data is retained for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after termination for legal and audit purposes
- Verified reviews are retained indefinitely as public content unless deletion is requested
- Unverified review drafts and expired OTP records may be deleted periodically
- Payment and billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations

- Your phone number will not be displayed publicly
- By submitting a review, you grant MyCabPortal a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform
- You are responsible for ensuring your review is truthful and does not violate any applicable law
